Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries (AFDA)
The Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries (AFDA) represents the Finnish defence, aerospace and security industries. AFDA has ca. 100 member companies which cover almost the entire defence related industries in Finland.
AFDA is a Branch Association of The Federation of Finnish Technology Industries and it was established in 1994.
AFDA acts as an interest group nationally and internationally. It provides a platform for domestic and international networking and certain services to its members. AFDA is in regular contact with the armed forces and the Ministry of Defence.

The Association represents Finland in ASD (AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe). The Association also serves as an intermediary in contacts with NIAG (NATO Industrial Advisory Group).
