Business and technology projects
The objective of the Federation’s project activities is to help member companies improve their competitiveness through development projects. The projects are usually joint ventures between several companies, research institutes, universities and consultants. Public sector funding is also applied for in these projects, if necessary.

The Federation of Finnish Technology Industries implements projects that
- support companies’ adaptation to changes in their operating environment
- support industrial utilisation of new know-how
- increase the number of Tekes’ programmes.
- have an impact on the contents of Tekes’ programmes in accordance with the needs of the sector
- activate companies to take part in national programmes and EU framework programmes.
